Realtor Spotlight: Melissa Ishee

Hi everyone! My name is Melissa “Mel” Ishee, and I’m so excited to be a new addition to the Cove Realty team.

I recently obtained my real estate salesperson license and I am looking forward to the challenges and rewards that this new and exciting career has to offer.

I grew up in Illinois where I met and married my husband Brian. We have been married for 29 amazing years! Whew … where does the time go?

I graduated from Midstate College in Peoria, IL where I majored in business/travel. This served me well as I then worked in a five-star-hotel serving the needs of guests varying from leisure travel, corporate business, to celebrity status.

My husband is a Navy veteran. Our time navigating military life afforded me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. I have been blessed with our eleven-year-old daughter Lilly, who keeps me on my toes as most pre-teens do!

In my spare time I love to garden, antique, travel, and spend time with my loving family and friends. Prior to calling Bristol my home for the past 22 years, I have worked in various office positions within a family-owned and operated car dealership in Fairfax, VA, been a U.S. government employee within the postal division at the overseas Naval Operations in Gaeta, Italy, and have worked alongside some of our finest men and women in blue for the past 21 years as a corrections/classifications officer with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.

Now, I look forward to taking these experiences with me as I enter the exciting world of real estate. I am so honored to be a part of such an exciting and diverse career field! Buying and/or selling a home can be one of the most challenging and stressful times for people. It is my hope that I can be that trusted professional whom my clients can consistently call and count on. After all … that is the Cove difference!
